no work, record shopping, writing more music

Digging through my records, I found Mary Timony's Mountains. I remember being one of the very few to see her play this album at the Troubador and I brought my future wife who barely knew me. I was a big fan of Helium growing up, especially the no guitars ep when they went all medieval. I bought the album off her with cash and about a dollar or two in change cause that's all I had. Man, this album will now be on heavy rotation especially the song 'the bell' with it's epic ending. She is definitely a better guitar play then me. I only wish I had her sign it.

Heading off to record outlet in Thousand Oaks, it's still there, and they still have cheap records. I got Saint Vitus Born too late and another album in one double record collection for 10 bucks.

We have a show coming up on January 21st at the airliner through our friends from Earsplitters. More info coming soon.
